It was the second fireball I have seen in my 72 years and no doubt what I observed. I sketched scene live from my doorstep then painted the fireball in and the picture appeared in Malvern Gazette newspaper on 26th Jan and in Sky at Night Magazine in March 2024.

The fireball was very bright and it had 'sparks' at front end of trail which may have been fragments falling off. Not aware of a terminal flash but thought I could hear a delayed 'swishing' sound afterwards.
