| Remarks | It appeared to be much closer to the horizon (just above the tree line by a few degrees) than any other meteor I have seen in the past and was very bright - significantly brighter than any street or highway lights which were on since it was dark. The object was also very large as it moved across my field of view from left to right. It was not as large as the moon, but definitely much larger than any of the current planets viewable at this time of year. |

| Terminal flash | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | The bright flash is what drew my attention and it appeared to be large in size and angling down toward the horizon. It had some fragmentation at the end of the tail, but the whole thing only lasted about 6 or 7 seconds from when I saw it. |

| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | I was driving and saw a bright flash with the light appearing to be white and yellow with flashes of blue as it moved across my field of vision from left to right. The blue colors were after the area of bright white and yellow lights. There appeared to be flashes of light tailing the primary bright "ball" of light, as if it were fragmenting. Most of these appeared to be light in color but a few were blue and perhaps pink, but again it happened really fast and the brightness of the whole thing is what drew my attention. |
