Experience Level 3/5
Remarks *I have 3 more photos could only upload 1. *All 4 photos taken 2/21/24 Wednesday @ 6:20 & 6:21pm. *I was on phone w/my friend while sitting in my car, near gazebo(as shown in satellite photo) 10 feet away from the water, (The Niagara River) @ the park. I said “woe what is that?” She said “what” I replied “I don’t know but it’s not an airplane it is moving super fast & there are no flashing lights on it like an airplane. “This bright moving object in the sky, literally caught my attention, enough, that I literally took photos. *NOTE: •The time I seen this, is NOT the time that the local news channels here in Buffalo, NY reported. •According to the time stamps on all 4 photos (2@ 6:20pm-2@ 6:21 pm) •All 4 photos taken with a 12 pro iPhone •No photos were edited Unfortunately I could only take 4 as it was moving VERY fast then poof disappeared. *I didn’t think anything of it until, 2/22/24, Thursday. That is when my friend called me. Said she heard something on the radio about a meteor, saying “I wonder if that is what you seen?” *FYI: I was lucky enough to witness, “Halley’s Comet” in 1986 in the Mojave Desert @ The Joshua Tree National Park, Twentynine Palms, California. *NOTE: •The brightly colored, fast moving object looked similar, just smaller, compared to the comet I seen in 1986. •The object I seen on 2/21/24, Wednesday, was very bright, close but not as close as the comet, had no trailing tail & was smaller in size.
