Reports Report 701a (Event 701-2009)

Observer
Name Vicky W
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks Saw the impact when I was driving down the driveway when coming home from work. Meteorite was found upon inspection of the impact area when the spring thaw came. Stony Iron about the size of a basketball. VERY heavy, definitely burned with signs of cracking. Some areas of it are shiny metal, other areas of it are melted rock. It has been on our porch for years and has never rusted.
