I was sitting on the couch in my living room and I seen the fireball through the South facing window. This is only the second time in my life I've seen one while indoors. The view to the night sky is very clear from where I was seated. My home is at the edge of two fields with one to the East and one to the South. Light pollution is moderate to minimal. I sit outside often from Spring to Fall and see many fireballs, etc. yet few are what I would consider spectacular.
