Remarks
initially began as a regular falling star and as it continued to the SSW it became brighter as though it was burning following the first appearance of a white or light blue streak. The visible appearance of a smoke trail continued for the duration and remained slightly thereafter. I am a long time sky watcher and over the past 50 years have seen a few of these. This was among the most dramatic and slow moving of any I've witnessed.

Fragmentation
Observation
Yes
Remarks
The final second(s) indicated some sort of fragmentation. At least three (3) larger visible pieces separated as the object flamed out slightly above the horizon.
