| Remarks | I was traveling in a car. 1st saw meteor from west, 1/4 mile later saw fire ball and black smoke cloud trail, 1/4 later saw fire ball with black core changing from red/orange to greenish then yellow/white when it was almost overhead then white as it passed overhead and contacted the ground to the east of where I stopped. Seen the trees light up in front of contacting ground and a forest of trees lit up to the right showing the angle of contact to the ground. |
