| Remarks | 4 of us saw it. No one has ever seen anything this bright or this close up. Looked nothing like a "shooting star" and it was much slower than meteors I have seen before. We could see flames around the ball and explosions in the tail. It blew apart before ground contact. We heard no sounds but we were so loud and excited if it did make noise... we made more. One thought it was space junk coming back to earth. |
