Remarks I have very little knowledge in this area but it didn't seem to be celestial in origin, it seemed like space debris (satellite, etc.) that was burning up as it entered our atmosphere.

Remarks It started as an orangish glowing object about 280 degrees west. It was traveling due east. It split into three pieces as it flew across the sky almost horizontal to the ground. After it split into 3 pieces it began to diminish in brightness. I lost view of it because my house was in the way. Iwas on our upper deck and I couldn't move away from our house so could see it continue eastward. However I believe it was nearly burned up as went out of my view.
