Reports Report 3456i (Event 3456-2024)

Observer
Name Wendy T
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks At approximately 2110 this evening 7-13-24 I saw in the northern sky a possible fireball / fast burning shooting star . It was almost like a little flickering of a sparkler at the end of it a very short tail of light.. I almost missed it if I didn’t turn my head at the correct moment to see it. I was wondering if it was recorded by anyone or seen by anyone else. It was very amazing. This is what I have for coordinates when I went to get my phone: 4°N 34°59'24" N 79•23'5" W Raeford, NC 310 ft Elevation If this isn’t the forum to post such a question, could you or someone else please let me know. I would like to report this and have the knowledge of where to report unusual activity in the future. I love looking up at the night sky and am always fascinated by it. One day I will get to a planetarium. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Wendy Toombs
