| Remarks | We were driving into NYC 5 years ago, 11/11/19. My husband and I were in the front seat looking south together and saw a fast incredibly bright light travel across our field of vision from left to right, getting brighter as it went. It disappeared almost instantly and we've always assumed it was a human vehicle or object traveling across the sky simply because we knew no other options. It was so outside of our expected night sky views (especially in suburban NYC) that we briefly entertained the notion that it might be a UFO. I ran across this website just now (7/31/24) and decided to fill out the form. Maybe someone else has turned in a viewing from that night and maybe it was a fireball? |
