I did not hear any noise but I had headphones on. I looked at it because my dog stopped walking and looked at that direction. Then I saw it. Don't know if the dog heard something, saw the brightness or just a coincidence

It started as a bright white trace. And very quickly turned into a bolder still bright trace. Don't think it ever looked like a ball. At first I thought it was some type of firework but it didn't have any sort of sparks. Looked low. Appeared and disappeared quite fast. From the time it caught my attention I'd say not more than one second until dossapearing.
