Reports Report 4582ig (Event 4582-2024)

Observer
Name Em V
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was in my car at the Target parking lot, and a sudden burst of light caught my attention directly in front, and slightly to the right of my line of vision. It wasn’t super high up in the sky, and from where I was sitting it could be seen in the area above the front of the parking lot / past the Publix & Mattress Firm and over the GNC / America’s Best Contacts & Lenses / Panda Express buildings across from me. This all lasted only 2-3 seconds but the light was bright with a tail and glowed mainly green, but since it was somewhat bright there was some lighter greens, yellows and maybe whites as well. There was also a noise to it, a (maybe slightly delayed) popping/fizzling/cracking sound followed by a slight, quick boom.
