I live south of Atlanta in Georgia and it appeared as tho it was in the sky north of Atlanta. Not as big as a full moon, maybe a quarter or less than a full moon appears. Lasted approximately 3 seconds and was very noticable and kind of like it had a tail that followed it that seemed to be approximately 4 times the length of the bright ball (from side to side) and the tail wasn't as bright and seemed to taper off.
