Reports Report 4582ob (Event 4582-2024)

Observer
Name Andrew K
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks The degree / angle finder on the website is confusing. I was driving approx. due north. The fireball was on my right approx. 1:00 position and very low. I don't know how to explain other than it was about at the halfway point in the height of my windshield. It was moving with my direction, north and just a hint westward because I could see the full length of the tail. It traveled straight. It was the neatest one I've ever seen, hands down. I see the streak, which is fairly common out here in the open country away from the city lights. It immediately got brighter and then flashed. I've never seen a fireball flash. It was a blue-green color. After the flash there were smaller fireballs and then it was all gone. It was quick, maybe 3 seconds max. I happened to be looking in that direction because there are usually deer in the field at that time of evening.
