| Remarks | Facing my large window to the NW. Suddenly appeared a bright whitish-yellow ball with red-orange “tail”directly above it. All in a perfect vertical plane….not at any angle streaking across the sky. It was extremely bright like an upside down light bulb. It appeared and dropped straight down and disappeared as fast as it had come. It was already dark with clouds. This appeared as though it was right in our field or just into the woods that surround us. Seeming so close , BRIGHT and intense , I could touch it. Quite amazing. Not sure what terminal flash or fragmentation really means——there was no explosion or bursts…. |
