| Remarks | I was driving north toward the town of Warrenton, VA about a half hour after sunset, but the sky was still bright. Saw the fireball(?) coming from my left, not far from the horizon moving downward at the angle I reported earlier. It seemed very close, like it might fall into the town, a couple of miles distant. I noticed a pretty green color, but also seem to remember that the center was bright white. It was much larger than a typical meteorite. I saw it very briefly before I lost it behind the treeline. |
