It was bright green but had a red “tail” (did not persist after it disappeared). It went behind buildings so I did not have a good judgement for how long it went/low on the horizon before disappearing. It was an electric green, almost like neon lights in a dark room. I thought at first it was an aircraft crashing because if this color.
