| Remarks | The most intense meteor I have ever seen. It was the largest, or probably more explainable the closest on I have ever seen. I had never seen colors from a meteor before, and this was incredible, mostly green, with some orange. I was driving in car when I viewed this with my radio up loud so if there was sound I could not hear it. At the time of viewing this, because of how low it was in my view I was positive it landed within 5 miles of me, but it is so hard to tell depth and distance in a dark sky. It was a very large fireball so it seemed very close, but I really dont know how far away it was. |
