| Remarks | I heard what seemed to me a huge fire burning. I looked toward the sound and saw a huge, black ball with what looked like cracks in it through which I could see fire on the inside. The tail was pure fire with smaller black particles in it. As the ball began to burn out, the tail became like a smoky fish tail. I watched it until I couldn't see it anymore, but never saw it descend. It stayed high for as long as I could see it. |
