Yes. It was unlike any event I have ever seen. It was very bright. I did some research recently to try and find the event. But the only event I found was on August 4 2019. In Manitoba which was reported by several people. But that's on the east coast. And this one was heading northwest. There is not a lot of people in this area/town. And it's very likely it went unnoticed. Especially if it went out over the Pacific in that direction.
But I have been trying to research the event for quite some time and couldn't find anything on it which is sad because the occurrence meant a lot to me and my best friend.
It was very bright. I thought it could have been a shooting star but it was just much brighter like it lit up the sky for just a couple seconds. Because the event was so long ago. I can't remember seeing a trail in the aftermath. There most certainly was a path. But I didn't see a trail of smoke after the occurrence. And it's possible there might have been some particles but it was so bright I couldn't really tell. If anything I would just appreciate it if someone could find reports on it in cased I might have missed something in my research. I would be grateful for that.

Remarks
It appeared very bright for maybe a millisecond. It was bright almost like a flashlight. It was heading northwest from the location I saw it on top of the roof.
