Remarks I was inspired to report this meteor because it seemed so much closer than most others I've seen . As a night time sheriff's deputy I see more of them than I imagined they actually occurred .

Remarks I saw the light burst and flash about halfway through its flight path before it dimmed and went out of sight . Also it's angle appeared to slightly change after the burst . It was definitely a meteor .
