| Remarks | I saw it while driving West/Nwest on Route 2 from Lincoln to Fitchburg, I didn’t note my exact location when I saw it, but it was left of the highway, and seemingly traveling fairly parallel to the highway. I didn’t see when it started- I only saw when it entered my field of vision through the top left of my windshield, then lost track of it when it disappeared over the tree line (which is close to the highway). I had my music on loud, so didn’t hear anything. I would say the apparent size of the fireball was about 4x larger than any other star or planet in the night sky, and extremely fast. I did not notice much of a tail. |
