Remarks Immediately texted my wife “Just saw a helluva burning comet”. It was the brightest thing I had ever seen in the night sky, except for the full moon. It left a gently curling trail (slight curve). It was a bright orange ball and looked like a continuing flame. There was a hazy glowing trail.
