Remarks | Actual brightness looked about like an airliner landing light viewed from a couple miles away. At first I thought it might be an airliner approaching PDX, but instantly saw the tail, and realized it was moving about an apparent 20 times faster than an airliner would normally be moving. (realizing now that if it was a hundred miles distant or so, the actual velocity would be far higher yet.) |
