Remarks Two lines of light like lightning shot out of the bottom of the ball as the ball was moving downward and toward my window. The ball. was so large and moving toward me that it obscured the buildings between me and 401First avle (E23and First ave).Just before it disappeard, two lights came out of the bottom of the ball and each was curved and moving away from the other. Both seemed to emanate from the same point at the bottom of the ball. The three things, the ball and the two lights, together looked like a lower case, cursive i. The lights, each curved, like a small letter case c coming downward away from the ball toward earth in opposite directions from the bottom of the ball and the ball making the dot over the two curved ligjts. If you do not know the meaning of lower case or cursive ask someone over 65 to explain them to you or write them out for you. At first the ball came out of the South East and got lower and lower until it disappeared. I do not know if it was the next day but the street below where it disappeared was almost covered with what appeared to be ice crystals or salt crystals used to melt snow but there was no snow. It also appeared to have more oil than usual.
