| Remarks | I had stepped out onto our kitchen porch to dump out some tea grounds, and looking up, a huge bright shooting “star” in the north was shooting almost straight down toward the horizon! I have seen a lot before, as we live rurally with no light pollution - but this was so amazing and green!!! It lasted just a few seconds, and though we are in a low area with a hill not far to the north, I could see it as it traveled behind the deciduous oak branches on our trees. So amazing!!! |
