To the naked eye it appeared red. Though admittedly I'm color blind. In the video everyone says that it appears white. Additionally this was during the Palisades fire in Los Angeles and we are in the general proximity of the fire. Which would affect the color I would imagine. I was on the rooftop taking video of the approaching fire at the time that it occurred.
