| Remarks | I go jogging down this street almost every night. It's a forested neighborhood tucked beneath hills that lead out onto the busy highway. I get a good run in and sometimes a great cry. I've caught some pretty sweet meteor showers there over the past year so, I find myself going back frequently to relive the wonder. But, I've never seen anything like this until the 29th of January at 7:58pm PST in the year 2025. My 24th birthday is this upcoming Sunday and to be honest, it's been hard to get through the days so it's not like I marked it on my calendar and counted the days until celebration. The night jogs and post-jog stargazing were the things keeping me alive these days. When it happened, I felt weightless yet frozen in time and space. I caught myself sobbing again but this time it was out of joy, wonder, and awe. Yes, at the end of the day, it may be just another space rock that was lucky enough to collide with our atmosphere. But to me, that event gave me a deep sense of true belonging to this earth even though time after time in my life, I've been made to feel like life maybe could be better off in Saturn. |

| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | It was as bright as a rocket. It was very spherical in shape and was the brightest just before it disappeared from the line of vision. From where I was standing, it looked way too big to be any spacecraft although that was what I assumed it could have been before it flashed and "vanished" like alien craft. The center of the observed blast was the brightest. It had a bright light blue core and primary blue outer ring. |
