Remarks | I saw it low on the horizon through the trees, so I only saw a short part of the path - looked like it might have been flaring. I'd say +/- 10 degrees on the altitude I reported, and perhaps the same margin on the az. I was looking pretty nearly due north, or perhaps just east of north. I was at the UMD Observatory, and I could easily figure out more precisely what the direction was next time I'm out there. |
