Reports Report 1436f (Event 1436-2025)

Observer
Name Daniel H
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I got a really good look at it, despite the trees in my yard. It was slower than a typical shooting star, clearly breaking up. If it wasn't a meteor maybe some space junk? Either way, it was very cool to witness. The duration surprised me, it moved quickly but maybe took 6 seconds to cross my field of view before losing it behind some trees I can't see beyond. The head of it was bright green, and the tail/fragmentation was green and yellow with a light greenish-blue halo/edge.

Remarks It travelled from my left field of view to the right, about as fast as a passenger jet. It left a long streak behind it, mostly green. No smoke, just green spark like fragments
