My friend Denise was with me and she just caught the tail end of it. I saw it at least 3 full seconds.
It looked massive bright Red with a red and yellow tail. From seeing them while I was at sea when I was in the Navy, I would say it was somewhere over west central Alabama to eastern Louisiana. The tail looked approximately 40 to 50 miles long

It was west of Prattville Alabama and came in from the north at a 45° angle to the south. It was a massive fireball. Red with a red and yellow trail. It lasted about 3 seconds. There were no sounds coming from it. We were expecting to hear a explosion but there was nothing but silence.
