| Remarks | Since it was dark outside and I was inside my car going 83 MPH, I couldn't observe any sound or any smoke or other effects. The bright green end of the fireball seemed to approach quite close to the earth in the distance before it burned out. There were at least 2 other cars behind me on Interstate 25 that, I would think, must have also seen this spectacular phenomenon. I had never seen anything so large, bright, and close to me in the night sky, though I have seen many other things in the WY night sky that looked more like falling stars. This was just breathtaking! |
