Reports Report 2699an (Event 2699-2025)

Observer
Name Stephen S
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks My daughter (45) and I (74) had just finished observing Mars in the same area of sky with a basic spotting scope and 5 seconds after we looked up we both saw this amazingly bright fireball. I've seen LOTS of shooting star meteorites and Rachel is a hobby spotter with a reflector scope, We were HIGHLY 'priviliged to have both seen it together - nobody els would believe us LOL. It was so bright and coloured that I believed it to be space junk. I'm available for questions / clarification THE MAP FACILITY on this site didn't work properly - I didn;t get to drop an address pin/marker accurately but all of my directions, and inclinations are accurate from S41 0FR - UK My study days were in Maths and Physics
