| Remarks | Seen hundreds of shooting stars. This was by many magnitudes the brightest and even more so the biggest I've ever seen. Like someone took a green and blue neon magic marker across the sky. Thick irregular flaming tail. At the head I could see small popping fragments, but I never saw an explosion or large/full disintegration. My view of it was cropped on both sides by a buildings, so it would have had a longer trail than I observed, though I did see itself in its entirety very well in my view alley. |
