Reports Report 2959n (Event 2959-2025)

Observer
Name Bruce R
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks The fireball was huge. Spectacular. I walk a lot in the evenings and have seen a lot of fireballs but this one blew me away. Approximately 1/2 the size of the moon.At first I thought it was a low flying helicopter with its searchlight on, except it was the wrong colour and no noise. It appeared over the roof of a house so missed the start and went almost directly overhead travelling from E to W. I heard a small bang about 1 minute after but could have been something else. I'm a Geologist so the colour reminded me of a copper flame test.
