I caught it out of the corner of my left eye as I was driving. It appeared to pass through Scorpius, traveling downward toward the horizon. It passed between Antares and beta Scorpii (crossing about where M80 would be). Long train that persisted for a short period of time (2-3 seconds). Passed behind trees before I saw whether it reached the horizon or not.

Remarks
As I turned to look at it, I noticed a small bright fragment detach from it. I saw no terminal flash, but it obscured by trees at this point.
