| Remarks | The fireball disappeared while still at a decent elevation in the sky. It looked like it was over the loch… I thought perhaps it burnt in the atmosphere… but then the giant boom made me question whether it had hit something or if it was a sonic boom. | Remarks | I saw a bright flash in the sky and then a fireball emerged from the clouds. I jumped up to the window to watch it streak across the sky but heard no noise concurrently. A good minute or so after, there was a boom so loud it shook the whole house and rattled the window panes. The volume and shaking was similar to a massive clap of thunder following a lightening strike… but there are no storms in the area |
