| Remarks | I'm a very observant person, and a sky watcher, love nature, but have no strong astronomical knowledge, just basic star knowledge etc. Ive seen plenty shooting stars in my life, and have watched some meteor showers, but the object I saw last year from my bedroom window, and the one I saw tonight, are bigger than anything Ive seen previously. The one I saw tonight was relatively low, large, and I almost had to pinch myself that Id seen it. It definitely 'exploded'. I'm still in awe an hour later. Sorry I cant be more precise re position. |

| Remarks | It arced down from left to right, at first like a shooting star, then burst as an explosion of light, it flared yellow/orange, was sperm shaped just before it vanished. Ive seen one before from the other side of my apartment, overlooking a park, and it was large, but this was from my living room window, bigger than anything Ive seen before, and more orange than 'white' ... it astounded me. It was to the west, and although it was dark high in the sky, the lower sky was still light ... It appeared just between the light part of the sky and the dark, so quite low. |
