| Remarks | I have seen the gemini metor shower from Mauna Kea and seen hundreds of shooting stars. This object had a similar movement speed and momentum, but length, width and brightness longer close to 2 seconds. It seemed closer. To note, this was seen from an airplane over cloudy thunderstorm skies. Clear where we were positioned with the sun already blocked. The object moved pretty straight downwards just above the cloudline. I have some images of the skyline around the same time but not the actual event. Position described here may be off. Seemed to come just left of where the sun had set and move vertically. |
