Remarks At first I thought I was seeing a shooting star. Then I realized it was much, MUCH closer than a shooting star. I was with my brother. We both sort of freaked out I think when we noticed how much closer it was, it wasn't in space, it was in our atmosphere. Was worried it was something scary like a missile for a split second, but then realized it was likely just a meteor. After seeing other footage it really tracks with what they look like. Knowing where it landed would be very difficult, as the perspective at nighttime is challenging. Not sure how far it would have gone, the trajectory looked like it still could have gone for another 1-8 kilometers (hard to know though). Hope this is helpful or can be corroborated with other sightings however it's a small country area with low population...possible we were the only two that saw it since the light came and went very quickly, probably just second or two. thanks for reading - it was amazing to see!
