Remarks I'm very very amateur :) and this was a chance sighting as I was on the interstate late at night, but this was quite bright, at least full moon brightness, and green-white and visible for at least 2-3 seconds. I was quite surprised and excited to see it.

Remarks I was driving (so location/angles approximate), but I believe I saw a smaller piece fly off the upper rear before the fireball went dark
