As I stared into the eyepiece of my telescope, I noticed the ground and sky glow brightly green. Turning almost 180ยบ, I saw the meteor track from west to east along the stars comprising the head and neck of Pegasus.

Remarks
Had my back to the initial event but turned to see the meteor fade and a spray of embers continue for somewhere between 5 and 10 degrees of the sky.
