Reports Report 5622h (Event 5622-2025)

Remarks The altitude of this object/light was ridiculously low. The shape inside (for a lack of better word) the light was clearly visible. The "nose" end looked cone shaped, extending to a cylindrical shape with a defined end. I was looking up sightings of green meteors (how I found this website!!!), but most videos of those lower in altitude seem to flare (???), like the light is bleeding from the brightest point. What I saw did not look like that and was lower in altitude than any images/videos I have seen so far, though I am not sure if cameras are accurate to in-person viewing perspective. The green light at the "nose" end was perfectly cylindrical with a tail of light that did not last whatsoever. I was only around 100 feet from where I saw the object and saw NOTHING when I looked in the direction of where it was headed. It should be noted that where I live and in the exact area of where I saw it has little to no light pollution and incredibly high visibility to the point where on some nights you can see like clouds of stars behind the most most visible stars. With the speed at which it was going, a fire would have started at the crash point. There was no fire. There are also no trees in that area. The object was insanely bright, but didn't cast light on ANYTHING. It was like it drank in the light around it. No idea what this was, lol but I hope this helps in collecting data of any kind
