Report Title: Fireball Sighting over Damascus, Syria – September 15, 2025
Observer Details:
• Location: Jaramana, Damascus, Rif Dimashq, near Airport Road, Syria
• Approximate Coordinates: 345N
• Time: September 15, 2025, around 04:47 local time
Phenomenon Description:
• The object appeared suddenly in the sky, moving at very high speed toward the ground.
• Its appearance lasted only a fraction of a second before disappearing.
• Before vanishing, it showed multiple colors (green, blue, orange, red) due to glowing while entering the atmosphere.
• No sound was heard, and no smoke trail was observed.
• No fragments were observed to fall to the ground.
Estimates:
• The phenomenon is consistent with a small to medium-sized fireball that entered the Earth’s atmosphere and fully disintegrated.
• The likelihood of causing any damage on the ground is very low.
