| Remarks | I was just stepping out to look at the early morning sky. Our front door faces north but the sky is mostly obscured by a brushy tree line, I usually look to the east. However, I was literally stepping through the doorway with my hand still pulling on the doorknob when a bright flash caught my attention. The event lasted long enough to make an impression. |

| Remarks | It was a glowing trail. When extending my hand, and opened my thumb and forefinger the trail was about 3 inches. There were some small branches that provided an overlay grid to do the hand measurement. |
