| Remarks | Date & Time: October 1, 2025 – around 7:15 PM EDT (23:12 UTC) Location: Durham, New Hampshire, USA Direction of observation: Looking west, object appeared to be falling toward the horizon over Newmarket/Epping area. Elevation: Low, just above the treeline. Description: A bright white object, very bright at first, moved almost straight downward. It quickly dimmed and fizzled to nothing above the treeline. No large visible fragmentation, no sound noticed. Duration: ~2–5 seconds (estimate). Color: White. Notes: Clearly not an aircraft light; resembled a small fireball or meteor.
