| Remarks | Our astronomy club was assisting with a NASA IOTM event for the public library. We had two telescopes, tripod mounted binoculars, and an EAA system set up. The astronomers were starting to break down. I was naked eye pointing out Saturn to someone when I saw the meteor. It was parallel to the horizon below Saturn. One of the astronomers looking through the telescope thought he saw something flash across as I yelled out, “wow, did anyone see that?” He and I were the only two that saw it. |
