Reports Report 3272e (Event 3272-2013)

Observer
Name Laura S
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I saw it through a sheer curtain on a glass door, so I only saw it for a few seconds (due to the frame of door), therefore it's hard to be certain. It looked like a comet or meteor from a movie or an illegal firework dud or something falling from the sky on fire. I grabbed my phone and jumped in my car to go see if it maybe landed nearby because I wasn't sure what it was, but was convinced it was something that hit the ground. It was so close!. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything. When I got home, I went onto the internet and that's when I learned of this website and the Geminid meteor shower taking place this late evening/early morning. I then bundled up and went outside for about 45min. and saw almost a dozen meteors, one of which was bright and long, but nowhere close to the incredible fireball that initially stole my attention. It was big and bright and so amazingl!!!
