| Remarks | I was riding my motorcycle at highway speed, so I don't remember much more than the trail being above the right side of the skyline headed toward Minneapolis and bright light blue in the morning sky. I had music and ear plugs, so I would not have heard the meteor. I don't know how to compare brightness at that time, but it was easily to see in the sky. It might have been closer to one second in duration, but it felt quick. I struggle to say I have astronomy/observing experience other than providing night skies programs and summer and winter scout camps. |
